Bothell Movers Since 2012, Founded By Owen Larkin And His Brother Gavin

6 trucks, 10 people, one Bothell yard — nothing about your move gets handed to a name we don’t know. Naomi Castellano answers most calls into the office, and whichever brother walked your home for the estimate is the same one running the crew, wherever in Bothell and the North King/South Snohomish corridor the job lands.

Estimates go out same-day, written by Gavin himself — nobody at a call center reads your Bothell move off a screen and passes it along.

2 Brothers Moving Services started in 2012, when brothers Owen and Gavin Larkin quit their jobs at two different national van lines in the same month.

Both had spent five years watching the same thing happen: they’d walk a customer’s home, write up a careful estimate, and then dispatch would hand the file to a crew that had never seen the house. Boxes got mislabeled, fragile items got missed, and the brother who made the promise wasn’t the one keeping it.

So they built 2 Brothers around one rule: whichever brother — Owen or Gavin — does your in-home estimate is the same brother running your crew on move day. No handoff, no stranger showing up with a clipboard.

Why The Same Two Names Are On Every File

The Company Started Over A Job Handed To A Stranger

For five years before 2012, Owen Larkin and his brother Gavin drove for two different national van lines, each of them quoting jobs in person only to watch dispatch hand the file to a crew that had never seen the house. Customers on both trucks kept saying some version of the same thing — the friendly guy who wrote the estimate never showed up on move day. The brothers quit the same month and started 2 Brothers Moving Services around one rule: whichever of them walks your home for the estimate is the same one on the truck running your move.

Whichever Brother Quotes It Runs It

Owen or Gavin walks the property, prices the job, and writes the estimate — then shows up on move day as part of the crew that carries it out. The file never gets handed to dispatch and reassigned to a name neither of you has met.

Nothing Gets Priced Off A Phone Call

A walk-up flight in Kenmore, a gate code for a Woodinville community, a piano wedged onto a third-floor Kirkland landing — details like that slip past a phone call. Gavin walks the property himself for anything inside the Eastside, or runs the same walkthrough over video for a longer job, before he’ll put a number in writing.

Wrapped Before The First November Rain

By November the crew is running doubled moving blankets and shrink wrap against the Pacific Northwest rain, tarping the truck ramp before a single box goes up it. A soaked mattress or a swollen dresser doesn’t dry out again before delivery, so nothing rides exposed on a wet afternoon.

The Crew On Your Job Is On Our Payroll

Six trucks, all titled to us, sitting in the same Bothell yard every night. Marcus Villanueva runs one crew, Sadie Kowalski runs another, and if a Saturday overbooks, the answer is longer hours for the people already on the clock — never a borrowed truck or a face nobody on our end has met.

Four Places To Check Us Before You Book

Google, Yelp, Angi, Or Thumbtack — Take Your Pick

A family in Kenmore might leave a review the same evening the truck pulls out of the driveway; someone in Woodinville waits until every last box is unpacked and the bookshelves are level before saying a word. Pull up Google, Yelp, Angi, and Thumbtack side by side and the number barely moves between them.

Two Brothers, One Line, No Middleman

You’re talking to one of two people who actually own the trucks. Gavin writes most estimates himself; Owen covers the rest — either way, your number usually lands in your inbox before he’s left your street.
