Terms of Service

The terms that govern estimates, bookings, deposits, cancellations, and claims for every move we book.

Estimates go out same-day, written by Gavin himself — nobody at a call center reads your Bothell move off a screen and passes it along.

These Terms of Service govern all moving services booked through 2 Brothers Moving Services (“2 Brothers,” “we,” “us”) in Bothell, Washington, whether scheduled by phone, email, or through twobrothersmovingseattle.com.

Estimates

Local moves are estimated on an hourly basis based on crew size, and long-distance moves are estimated based on the weight and volume of your household goods. In-home estimates are the most accurate; phone and online estimates are approximate until a crew member has seen the inventory.

Booking and Deposits

A $150 deposit is required to hold your moving date, and this amount is applied to your final invoice. Deposits are refundable if you cancel more than 72 hours before your scheduled move date.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before a scheduled move may forfeit the deposit, since crew and truck time has already been reserved for your job. We’ll always try to reschedule rather than cancel outright when possible.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the completion of your move unless other arrangements have been made in writing in advance. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods listed at booking.

Liability and Insurance

2 Brothers Moving Services is licensed and insured, with basic released-value coverage included on every job. Full replacement-value coverage is available and can be added during your in-home estimate. Claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 30 days of your move date.

Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for damage to items packed by the customer, unless our crew performed the packing, for pre-existing damage, or for items of extraordinary value not declared before the move.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.

Started By Two Brothers Who’d Had Enough Of Dispatch

The Same Brother Who Quotes It Runs It On Moving Day

“Gavin and I both drove for a national van line before this, and we quit the same month — we were tired of sitting across the table from a family, writing their quote ourselves, then watching dispatch hand the actual move to whoever was free that week. Since 2012, the rule’s been simple: whoever quotes your move runs your crew on moving day. No hand-offs, no strangers showing up with our name on the truck.”

Two Brothers, One Line, No Middleman

You’re talking to one of two people who actually own the trucks. Gavin writes most estimates himself; Owen covers the rest — either way, your number usually lands in your inbox before he’s left your street.
