Pianos and gun safes are the two calls that make people nervous, and for good reason — both are heavy, awkward, and expensive to get wrong. Crew chief Marcus Villanueva, with us since 2014, handles most of the piano and safe jobs in the Bothell-Woodinville corridor, and he doesn’t move one without a dolly, ramp, and enough hands to keep it level the whole way.
Pricing is straightforward: an upright piano runs $275, a grand piano $445, and a gun safe runs $220–$365 depending on weight and how far it has to travel from its current spot — a basement piano coming up a narrow Norway Hill stairwell takes more hands than one rolling straight off a ground floor.
These jobs get quoted separately from a standard hourly move because the equipment and crew size are different — you can book piano or safe moving on its own, or bundle it into a full household move happening the same day.
We check doorway widths, stair turns, and landing spots ahead of time rather than discovering a problem with the piano halfway out the door, and everything is padded and strapped for the ride, whether it’s going three miles or three states.

What You’ll Pay
Two ways to book it: $145/hr for a two-mover crew, or a flat rate by bedroom count starting at $2,200 for four-bedroom-plus homes if you’d rather lock in a total up front
Truck, blankets, and dollies are built into the rate, not billed as extras: $145 for two movers, $189 for three, $233 for four, each added mover after that at $44 an hour, or a flat $2,200 to $2,950 for four-bedroom-plus homes if you’d rather skip the clock — a $150 deposit applies either way. Basic released-value coverage rides free on every job, and Gavin will walk you through the full replacement-value upgrade on the estimate visit if you want the higher payout ceiling locked in before move day.
