Downsizing moves take longer to plan than a straightforward relocation, and they usually involve decisions nobody wants to rush — what goes to the new place, what goes to family, what gets donated. Office manager Naomi Castellano, who’s coordinated our dispatch since 2016, handles the scheduling on most senior moves personally, because timing around family visits and building move-in windows takes more back-and-forth than a typical booking.
We see this most often moving out of long-owned Bothell and Mill Creek houses into smaller condos or into senior communities around Kenmore and Lynnwood. The crew works at a pace that matches the household, not a rush to clear the truck, and we’re upfront if something looks like it needs a specialist — a piano, for instance, gets quoted at $275 upright / $445 grand rather than folded into a general hourly rate.
Pricing follows the same structure as any residential move — $145–$233/hr depending on crew size — and a lot of these moves pair well with our short-term storage, starting at $99/month, when the new place isn’t quite ready on move day.
We’re also comfortable coordinating directly with adult children handling logistics from out of town, keeping one point of contact at our office instead of passing details through several people.

What You’ll Pay
Two ways to book it: $145/hr for a two-mover crew, or a flat rate by bedroom count starting at $2,200 for four-bedroom-plus homes if you’d rather lock in a total up front
Truck, blankets, and dollies are built into the rate, not billed as extras: $145 for two movers, $189 for three, $233 for four, each added mover after that at $44 an hour, or a flat $2,200 to $2,950 for four-bedroom-plus homes if you’d rather skip the clock — a $150 deposit applies either way. Basic released-value coverage rides free on every job, and Gavin will walk you through the full replacement-value upgrade on the estimate visit if you want the higher payout ceiling locked in before move day.
