Pierce County sits furthest from our Bothell yard of anywhere we serve — Tacoma alone is close to an hour south depending on I-5 traffic through Seattle, and Puyallup or Lakewood can push that closer to ninety minutes on a bad afternoon. It’s also one of the more varied stops on our map: Tacoma’s older neighborhoods and downtown lofts, Puyallup’s newer subdivisions built out toward the fairgrounds, and Lakewood’s mix of established streets and homes near Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Naomi Castellano builds that drive time into the schedule rather than passing it along as a distance fee — a Pierce County load-in window accounts for the trip down, so the crew shows up on time instead of racing I-5 traffic to make it. Owen Larkin or Gavin Larkin still writes the estimate in person or off photos, and whichever one quoted the job runs it, the same as a move five minutes from our own driveway.
Because it’s the longest run we make, a Pierce County job sometimes lands on a day when Marcus Villanueva or Sadie Kowalski is already leading a truck closer to Bothell — when that happens, Owen or Gavin drives it personally rather than sending a crew that’s never met the customer.
What a Pierce County Move Runs
A two-mover crew starts at $145/hr, or Gavin Larkin sizes up a flat rate by bedroom count once he’s walked the job, starting at $2,200 for four-bedroom-plus homes
The rate doesn’t change whether the address is in Pierce County, a starter home a few blocks off the lake, or a two-story set back on a wooded lot — released-value coverage and the same job-captain continuity are already built into every number 2 Brothers Moving Services gives you, and nothing gets added once the crew’s finished loading.
