Sacramento is one of the longest routes we run, straight down I-5 through Oregon’s Willamette Valley, over the Siskiyou summit and past Mount Shasta, and into California’s Central Valley — about 750 miles one-way. It’s far enough that we treat it like the multi-day trip it is, not a stretched-out local move.
The Siskiyou grade is the one stretch that changes the plan more than any other part of the drive; an early snow at the summit can add hours that a sunny Bothell morning gives no warning of, so we build a cushion into the delivery window rather than promise an exact day.
Owen or Gavin — whoever quoted the job — is either behind the wheel or running the crew that is, which means the same two hands that wrapped your dresser in Bothell are the ones setting it down in Sacramento. Nothing changes trucks at the state line, and nothing sits on a dock waiting for someone else to finish the job.
Bothell → Sacramento — What It Runs
| Home Size | Flat-Rate Estimate | Usual Transit Time |
|---|---|---|
| 1BR / Small Load | $1,740 | 2-3 days |
| 2-3BR Home | $2,665 | 3 days |
| 4BR+ Household | $3,590 | 3-4 days |
Treat these numbers as a starting budget — Gavin Larkin locks in the binding figure once he’s priced your home size and the access at both ends of the route.
Moving Bothell to Sacramento?
One crew handles both ends of the haul — the same people who load the truck at our Bothell yard are the ones carrying it in at the delivery address
The crew that loads the truck in Bothell is the same crew that rides the route and unloads it in Sacramento — nothing gets transferred to a different truck partway, there’s no reweigh at a scale, and no broker is splitting the job between two companies. Gavin Larkin prices the lane off real distance and cubic footage before the truck ever leaves Bothell, and a long run out of state gets checked mid-route the same way a same-day job across the Eastside would.
